Alternative Funding For Your Creative Pursuits and Business
See what happens when you count yourself in.
Hey creators!
It’s been one of the busiest summers of my career, so I’m popping in with an encouraging word.
Closed mouths don’t get fed.
This is a motto I live by, especially as a creative entrepreneur.
Advocating for ourselves and our work is crucial. By speaking up and expressing our needs, whether it's for funding or development opportunities, we increase our chances of receiving support.
Creative projects deserve funding.
Our projects and initiatives inspire, educate, and bring people together.
With financial support, we can experiment, innovate, and push boundaries, leading to new ideas, artistic expressions, and advancements in our fields.
Not to mention sustaining our projects over time.
Recently, I was a guest on So Here's The Thing with Laylee Emadi, where we discussed funding opportunities for small business owners and creatives, specifically grants and brand deals.
So many creators count themselves out too early because they don't see specific terms like "podcaster" or "filmmaker" in grant descriptions.

By not applying, you could miss out on a significant opportunity to grow your business and achieve your goals.
As we’ve seen with several Grants For Creators community members, like Mike Brown, who secured a $1,500 grant, and Dr. Janina Jeff, who won a $25,000 award, winning a grant can be truly life-changing and empowering.
