Week of April 18th: Fellowships, Pitch Contests and Professional Development Grants

Hey there, creator!

Before we jump into the (20) funding opportunities for you to browse through this week, here’s a quick tip and a reminder.

Quick Tip: Sometimes important emails land in our spam folders, so check your spam inbox at least once a week. You never know if a funding organization may be reaching out to request more information from you or share that you won an award. Add an automated weekly reminder to your calendar, so you never miss this task.

Reminder: Join the Grants For Creators community on Wednesday, April 27, from 2:00-3:30 pm EST, for a live co-working session where we'll answer popular questions and brainstorm ways to improve our responses together. Throughout this session, you’ll be given writing prompts, have time to write your response, and get feedback from the group. Learn more and RSVP here.

1. Freed Fellow Grant

This microgrant of $500 is awarded to underrepresented founders in the U.S. and Canada to invest in their great idea or existing business. Receive feedback even if you’re not selected.

Apply to this opportunity.

2. Camelback Fellowship

The Camelback Fellowship offers coaching, $40,000 in capital, and more for early-stage entrepreneurs of color, women, and non-binary founders. Specifically, they are looking to fund education-related organizations and responsible tech organizations.

Deadline: April 25, 2022

Apply to this opportunity.
