[FEATURED GRANTS]

1. The Art and Change Grant - For Philadelphia Residents

This opportunity provides grants of up to $2,500 to fund art for social change projects by women, trans*, and/or gender nonconforming artists and cultural producers living in Greater Philadelphia. The program is open to applicants working in any medium. They must have a project supported by or in collaboration with a Change Partner (a person, organization, or business that is a part of the project in some way).

2. [NEW] The 2024 Washington Post Travel Photo Contest

This contest is for amateur photographers only. One photo/entry per person only and the photo must have been taken between July 1, 2023, and June 30, 2024. They will consider only the first photo received if you submit multiple entries. You may submit an image you have taken yourself, and you must have all the necessary rights to the photo to submit it here. Prizes range from $50 - $200.

3. National Endowment of the Arts Our Town Grant - For Nonprofits

Through project-based funding, this program supports activities integrating arts, culture, and design into local efforts that strengthen communities over the long term. All applications are submitted by one organization and require one partner organization. The pair must include a nonprofit organization and a local government or quasi-government entity. Grants range from $25,000 to $150,000, with a minimum nonfederal cost share/match equal to the grant amount.

4. [NEW] Southern Documentary Fund Filmmaking Grants

This opportunity cultivates documentaries made in or about the American South. SDF is looking for Southern Makers who reside or have deep roots in one of the twelve Southern states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. This $10,000 grant is for production projects that are nonfiction documentaries.

Deadline: August 16, 2024

5. [NEW] The Post-9/11 Fall Service Member Memorial Open Call for Artists

This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) solicits artists and/or artist teams interested in being considered to design a permanent public memorial dedicated to the fallen Service Members of the Post-9/11 combat era who were from New York City. Finalists will receive a $1,500 honorarium – per artist or artist team.
