Hello creators!

As promised, this is Part 2 of the February 13th newsletter with an additional 27 funding opportunities of up to $3M. Awards are available for Black podcasters (#5), television and screenwriters (#9), dancers (#13), Black-owned businesses (#7, #8, and #25), and more. 1. Black Creator Incubator - For YouTubers

Creative Juice is committing $25,000 and educational sessions on creativity and finance to Black creators to help scale their businesses.

Note: Must have at least 25,000 YouTube subscribers

2. MDBA Capital Readiness Program

This program will provide funding to incubators, accelerators, and other eligible organizations across the country with the expertise to support underserved entrepreneurs by providing training and other critical resources, tools, and technical assistance to access capital. MBDA plans to fund proposals for up to $3 million over four years per grantee.

3. New Voices Filmmaker Grant

A new initiative in partnership with Netflix to support emerging LGBTQ+ directors with $25,000 in funding to create new work – in addition to mentorship, networking, and professional development opportunities.

4. The Tidal Shift Award - For Artists

This $5,000 award is currently accepting submissions for socially-aware artworks related to the climate crisis through theme, subject matter, solutions, and more from emerging young artists, ages 14-22, exploring innovative ideas around sustainability.
