Hey creators!

As February comes to a close, we are sharing an additional 30 funding opportunities, which brings us to 80 awards shared this month (!!!) — the most we’ve ever shared in one month! Sheeesh!

This week we’ve discovered grants for BIPOC thriller authors (#29), no-code creators (#9), musical composers (#19), nonprofits (#3 & #30), and more.

Before we jump in, here are a few fun Grants For Creators updates.

1. Last week, I shared the importance of introducing students and younger generations to grants as a funding source in Be a Better Ally Podcast by Tricia Friedman, a fellow podcaster and GFC subscriber. Listen to the episode here.

2. We’ve surpassed 600 followers on TikTok! I’m starting to get the hang of it (ugh, I think, lol). Join us on TikTok — @grantsforcreators.

3. In the middle of completing a handful of grant submissions, I had a chance to enjoy a relaxing weekend getaway in Providence, Rhode Island which reminded me of the importance of rest and “no screen” time. This is a reminder to rest, hydrate, and have lots of fun while chasing your dreams.

Signing off from Providence, Rhode Island.

Resources of the Week

Brand Deal Wizard

We are an affiliate and may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you.

Sponsorship Coach Justin Moore’s Brand Deal Wizard course is open for enrollment until March 5, 2023. This course is for intermediate and advanced creators with experience working with brands looking to take their sponsorship income to new heights.

I enrolled in the Brand Deal Wizard last summer, which was absolutely incredible.

Here’s what I learned:

  • How to get more confident when interacting with brands, so I don't mess anything up, say the wrong thing, and scare them away.

  • How to secure longer-term partnerships so that my one-off deals turn into well-paying, ongoing collaborations.

  • How to get organized and track all the small details from every campaign, so I eliminate unnecessary re-shoots, never miss a deadline, and get that money in my bank account ASAP.

Learn more about the Brand Deal Wizard course. Read my review of this course.
