2. [NEW] The Spotify x JED Impact Award - For Authors/Writers
This is a new initiative to identify five unpublished, novel-length manuscripts that elevate exceptional depictions of mental health in fiction. It is open to unpublished manuscripts of all genres, but it particularly encourages submissions that normalize mental health experiences, challenge stereotypes, and showcase narratives of help-seeking and help-giving. The Black List requires all submissions to have received at least one evaluation and opt in to the Program during the Submission Period. The selected recipients will receive a grant of $10,000 each and retain the rights to their manuscripts.
Deadline: July 8, 2025
