June 20th: Creator Funds, Impact Grants and Accelerators
“Everything good, everything magical happens between the months of June and August.” – Jenny Han
Hello creators, I’m back with another edition of Grants For Creators!
But first, Happy Father’s Day, and how are you celebrating Juneteenth?
Consider shopping at Black-owned businesses, sharing the work of a Black creator (like this newsletter), or listening to these podcasts about the history of Juneteenth.
This week I’m sharing (23) grants and funding opportunities. There’s funding for beauty brands, children’s book illustrators, women entrepreneurs, small business owners (a.k.a. YOU), writers, authors, and more! Funding ranges from $100 to $190,000.
Community Updates
Congrats to Elle (retweet this!) and Dalia and Alma, three podcasters who recently won grant funding for their podcasts! Check out our podcasters playlist, which features (5) grants specifically for podcasters.
Also, with the support of our paid subscribers, I’ve been able to hire our first team member!
Cielo is helping with research, finding more grants than I can ever find alone. This is possible with your support. Thank you!
Oh! I got accepted to the Substack Grow program, so I’m looking forward to joining a community of writers learning how to grow their indie publications.
Lastly, be on the lookout for our upcoming events in July. I will be hosting an Ask Me Anything session about finding grants as creators and small biz owners and a co-working session.
Stay tuned!
