1. [NEW] Live & In Color - For Playwrights, Composers, and Lyricists of Color
Playwrights, composers, and lyricists of color and/or other underrepresented communities interested in developing their new musical will receive a $1,000 stipend plus housing, meals, and travel to a one-week workshop in the fall at The Bingham Camp in Salem, Connecticut, culminating in a staged presentation to an invited audience..

2. [NEW] Ascender's Black-Owned Business Mini-Grants - For Businesses in Allegheny County, PA
Ascender provides (5) mini-grants, ranging from $300 – $5,000 to Black-owned startups and small businesses in Allegheny County, PA. Complete a quick form and submit a 2-minute video for a chance to win a mini-grant to use toward a future growth goal.

3. CA$H Dance - For San Francisco Bay Area Dancers
This is a granting program for artists and organizations creating work in the San Francisco Bay Area. The program seeks to support various artists and organizations representing the diversity of Bay Area dance (race, ethnicity, genre, age, gender, orientation, ability, experience, and location). The grant is $5,000 for dance artists and $5,000 for dance organizations to support your creative activity. Applicants must register by February 21, 2024, to be able to apply for the March 6th deadline.

4. [NEW] The 2024 National Virtual Pitch Contest - For Entrepreneurs
Entrepreneurs across the US are invited to pitch their business ideas in 3 minutes to win thousands in cash and prizes. The top 10 contestants will receive a complimentary pitch coaching session before the contest. The first-place winner receives a $3,000 cash prize, a free Dell computer, and a one-year membership to the National Entrepreneurs Association. The second and third-place winners will respectively receive a $1,000 cash prize.

5. [NEW] The 2024 Prospera Impact Grant For Montana Women Business Owners
Prospera is pleased to announce that $18,000 will go directly to helping women business owners in Montana. Grant funding can be used for anything that will enhance economic independence for women, job creation, or take the business to the next level of success. They are most interested in projects that directly improve the ability of women business owners to become more economically successful. Applicants will apply for one of three categories, Rural, Urban, and Statewide, to fund one project. The Rural and Urban categories have a $5,000 grant, while the Statewide grant is $8,000.

6. [NEW] Economic Justice Journalism Awards
This award recognizes excellence in reporting on economic inequality and its effects on families in the U.S. Three $4,000 prizes are given for work published within these categories: 1) a story published/aired by any news outlet, 2) a story published/aired by any news outlet with a newsroom of 150 or fewer journalists and 3) a story published/aired by any news outlet with a newsroom of 50 or fewer journalists, or by a freelancer, unemployed, or furloughed journalist.

7. [NEW] Gusto Impact Awards for Atlanta, Austin, and Orlando Small Businesses
This opportunity aims to celebrate small businesses powering cities like yours. Share your small business story for a chance at a $50,000 advertising package, $10,000 cash, and one year of free Gusto payroll services (even if you’re not already on Gusto!).

8. The AI Innovation Grant for Entrepreneurs
This $10,000 grant is open to all entrepreneurs using or planning to use AI for their businesses.

9. [NEW] Center for Women Entrepreneurs Veteran Woman-Owned Small Business Grant - For Texas Residents
This program aims to foster greater economic development activity in Texas by encouraging and enabling veteran woman-owned small businesses to undertake new and innovative projects. $5,000 will be awarded.

10. [NEW] The TikTok #MicroDocChallenge on #Democracy
The goals of this experiment are to encourage an international conversation about Democracy (in all its good and bad elements) during this important 2024 election cycle, to explore and support experiments with a documentary form on TikTok, and to identify and award powerful work that can open our minds. TikTok users are invited to make micro docs about what Democracy means to them. What is a #MicroDoc? Be free and experiment! You can do interviews, use TikTok backgrounds and archival footage, focus on a specific matter, or keep it artsy, inspired by your favorite documentaries. At the end of the experiment, 20 TikTok videos will be selected to receive a $250 cash prize! Ensure your TikTok posts include the hashtags #MicroDocChallenge and #Democracy to be considered.

11. [NEW] The Next Challenge for Media & Journalism - For Startup Media Companies
This national startup competition seeks groundbreaking for-profit and nonprofit startups that will reinvent media in the coming decade. Eight prizes totaling $150,000 will be awarded to early-stage media startups in three divisions. One grand prize winner will receive a grant of up to $60,000.

12. Austin Creative Alliance Artist Emergency Fund - For Greater Austin, TX Residents
This opportunity helps artists, musicians, and other creatives in Greater Austin facing verifiable and immediate housing, food, or healthcare insecurity (including travel, lodging, and procedure expenses related to reproductive care) apply for up to $1,000 in unrestricted funds.
