1. The Spector Craft Prize for Emerging Artists 2025-2026
This opportunity seeks to identify and support exceptional emerging craft artists whose work demonstrates technical mastery, innovative vision, and deep engagement with American culture. The Prize aims to recognize artists with significant potential to contribute to the field and who would benefit from the program's comprehensive support.
Up to five artists will be selected annually to receive comprehensive support, including a $10,000 financial award to support their artistic practice. Participation in the Spector Craft Summit, including workshops, seminars, and networking sessions. Travel and accommodation costs covered for the Spector Craft Summit and awards ceremony. Recognition across their platforms. Mentorship opportunities with established craft artists and curators. Peer networking sessions with fellow emerging artists. Integration into a vital network of American craft professionals.

2. The 2026 AARP Community Challenge Grant - For Nonprofits
This opportunity funds quick-action projects that help communities become more livable by improving public places, transportation, housing, digital connections, and more. It supports the efforts of cities, towns, neighborhoods, and rural areas to become great places to live for all residents, especially those age 50 and older. This year, the AARP Community Challenge is accepting applications across three distinct opportunities.
Flagship grants support projects that improve public places, transportation, housing, digital connections, and disaster resilience. Awards range from a few hundred dollars to $15,000.
Capacity-building microgrants are paired with expert support, webinars, and cohort learning for projects to improve walkability and bikeability; implement safe, accessible home modifications; and disaster preparedness training. Awards are $2,500.
Demonstration grants fund projects that encourage replication of exemplary local efforts. This year’s focus is on improving pedestrian safety, with funding support from Toyota Motor North America; expanding high-speed internet access and adoption, with funding support from Microsoft; and housing choice design competitions. Awards typically range from $10,000 to $20,000, not to exceed $25,000.

3. [NEW] The "Women of Worth" Grant - For Women-Owned Nonprofits
Each year, L'Oréal Paris launches a nationwide search for ten extraordinary non-profit leaders to be named Women of Worth honorees. Each honoree receives $25,000 to support their charitable cause, mentorship from the L'Oréal Paris network, and a national platform to tell their stories.

4. [NEW] The 2026 Whitney M. Young, Jr. Scholarship - For New York City High School Seniors
Each year, the New York Urban League awards scholarships to African American and LatinX youth ranging from $2,000 to $10,000 to exceptional high school seniors and recent graduates who have not yet enrolled in college. Applicants must be New York City residents involved in community service, display leadership ability, and have academic achievements.

5. [NEW] The DAG Prize for Music - For Songwriters, Musicians & Producers
This Prize is awarded annually to a musician, songwriter, or producer whose work enriches and advances the diverse musical landscape of the United States. The goal of the DAG prize is to contribute meaningfully to music being made in the United States. It aims to support artists who draw on established musical traditions without being bound by them. From session players to songwriters, it supports creative, collaborative artists whose work suggests innovation, synthesis, or breakthrough, a unique perspective, and a dedicated practice.
The $20,000 prize will go to a mid-career artist who has sustained a career in touring, recording, songwriting, and/or producing. Awardees will have reached professional milestones, such as touring nationally and/or internationally, releasing original music with an established label or in cooperation with a recognized distributor, entering into a publishing contract, and/or building a dedicated following.
The prize is intended to support a significant new release or project. Funds can be used for composing, recording, producing, and/or performing music. This may involve renting studio time, hiring session musicians, acquiring new instruments or technology, or other related activities.

6. [NEW] The Documentary History Project for Youth - For Philadelphia Students
This is an annual after-school, weekend, and summertime digital media production workshop for middle and high school students, in grades 8 - 11. Each year, youth participants create short documentary films to explore aspects of Philadelphia's social, political, and cultural history. Up to 15 young people will be accepted into the program. Participants will talk with scholars and experts, explore historical archives, and learn the basics of documentary filmmaking.
Students gain solid skills in media production, including planning, scripting, camera and sound recording, video editing, and exposure to varied media production software – Adobe Premiere Pro (video editing), AfterEffects (titling & special effects), HTML (websites), and Audacity (sound editing). This program helps young people learn about the process of studying and presenting history through archival research, field interviews, data collection and analysis, narrative construction, and fact-checking.
Interested applicants must be willing to commit to 5 hours per week during the school year and up to 10 hours per week in the summer. Participants are paid a stipend for their participation. The exact amount is not disclosed.

7. [NEW] The 2026 Revolutionary Storyteller Grant - For Photographers
This grant is for photographers who collaborate with communities to actively create the futures we seek in the name of collective liberation. This opportunity seeks photographers with strong relationships with the people and works they document. Regarding topics and themes, think land and water protection, Indigenous science and wisdom, climate change, regeneration, and everything intersecting in between, including human rights, Indigenous sovereignty, land return, and more. Mixed-media photographers are also welcome. $5,000 will be awarded.

8. The 1,000 Dreams Scholarship for Women
This $1,000 scholarship provides one-time educational assistance to women currently enrolled in high school, college, or graduate school in the United States. The scholarship covers additional costs beyond tuition and may include assistance for needs such as educational conferences, instructional programs related to creative or artistic pursuits, graduate exam application fees, and textbooks.

9. [NEW] Helltown Players New Little Devils Short Play Series - For Playwrights
Helltown Players is thrilled to announce the third installment of their beloved short play series: New Little Devils. Building on the success of Little Devils (2024) and More Little Devils (2025), they’re taking the series in an exciting new direction this year — every play in the program will be a world premiere.
This is your chance to have your new, unproduced work brought to life on stage. Each play must be no longer than 20 minutes to perform. Ideally, they are looking for plays between 10 and 15 minutes. To submit, you must have some connection to Cape Cod — whether you live here year-round, have a weekend or summer home, or work on the Cape. Please tell them about your affiliation in your submission.
Playwrights whose plays have been accepted for production will receive a royalty of $100 for the use of their play for the run of the show. All playwrights will retain the rights of their plays.

10. BreatheStrong Cystic Fibrosis Exercise Grants
Exercise Grants are designed to help individuals with cystic fibrosis build and maintain lifelong physical activity habits. It provides funding for a wide range of fitness-related expenses, enabling recipients to move in ways that strengthen both their bodies and lungs.
Grants may cover gym or fitness center memberships; yoga, dance, or swim lessons; sports team registration fees and gear; running, hiking, horseback riding, and exercise equipment for home use; or any other activity that promotes regular physical fitness. Grant requests may not exceed $650.

11. The U.S. Journalist Rapid Response Fund - For Minnesota Journalists
This opportunity provides emergency assistance to Minnesota-based journalists and media workers covering immigration enforcement who need funding for mental health and well-being support, medical care, protective gear, or safety equipment. This fund provides small grants of up to $500.
