1. Stanford University’s Wallace Stegner Fellowship - For Writers & Poets

Unique among writing programs, Stanford University offers ten two-year fellowships each year, five in fiction and five in poetry. Fellows in each genre convene weekly in a three-hour workshop with faculty. This full-time academic commitment is not intended to be pursued concurrently with another degree program. The fellowship includes a $75,000 living stipend, and the Creative Writing Program pays for a fellow’s tuition and health insurance. A fellow must live close enough to Stanford to attend workshops, readings, and events.

2. The Huckberr Dream Year Giveaway

3. [NEW] 2025 Boulder St. Vrain Watershed Art Contest - For Denver Students

Students in Kindergarten through 12th grade who live in Boulder County or attend school in the Boulder Valley School District or St. Vrain Valley School can participate in an art contest and win cash prizes from $25 to $100.

Artwork should be inspired by the following prompt: “I am grateful for water because…”

Allowable media include: crayons, markers, pencils, paint, pastels, fabric, watercolor, chalk, markers, collage, etc. Photographs and digital art will not be accepted for this contest.

4. Tory Burch Foundation Fellows Program - For Women Entrepreneurs

This year-long program for women entrepreneurs helps founders of early-stage companies accelerate their businesses through live and recorded workshops, coaching sessions, a rich peer-to-peer network, a $5,000 business education grant, and access to capital.

5. LookUp Innovation Challenge 2026

This Challenge seeks youth-led innovations and advocacy that foster a healthy and safe digital world, with an emphasis on mental health. To share the underrepresented narratives that cultivate a healthy, inclusive, and/or ethical digital world. The Social Dilemma Impact Team at Exposure Labs sponsors the storytellers. Advocate through programs or strategies that engage with legislative policy or otherwise raise awareness of ways to mitigate the harmful impact of social media and the digital world, or maximize its benefits. Anyone aged 18-25, regardless of background or experience, is eligible to apply. Individuals or teams may apply. Up to $2,500 in seed funding will be awarded.

6. [NEW] Brown Avenue Parking Structure Public Art Project

The city of Scottsdale is working to expand the Brown Avenue Parking Structure to increase parking capacity in Old Town. The selected artist will design, fabricate, and install permanent artwork affixed to the exterior of the parking structure. They are accepting applications from artists with experience in large-scale mosaic, metal, or mixed-media installations. Painted murals, rusted metal, and free-standing sculptures are not appropriate for this project. Up to three finalists will be selected and paid a $2,000 stipend to do an in-person site visit and interview. The final selected artist will receive $160,000 for the realization of the art.

7. [NEW] Philly Cultural Critics Fellowship - For Philadelphia-based Cultural Critics of Color

The fellowship provides local journalists and filmmakers with the opportunity to refine their skills, get more connected to the local film ecosystem, and be compensated for publishing work for the cinéSPEAK journal. Fellows receive a $2,000 stipend ($400 per article for a total of five articles).

8. [NEW] Anchor Curatorial Residency Coming to Ellis Park - For Chicago Curators or Programmers

This 18-month paid residency is for Chicago-based curators or programmers with at least 3 years of professional experience in curation, programming, or project management. It includes space, time, and resources to deepen curatorial practices by producing a collaborative and responsive community-based exhibition, grounded in experimentation, local knowledge, and everyday experiences. This residency offers a curator fee of $20,000 and an additional $10,000 budget for exhibition and program expenses.

9. Concrete in Life Photography Competition

This annual photography competition is open to all photographers (or anyone with a camera phone) around the world. It tasks you to take photos of concrete in your life for a chance to win up to $10,000. Entering the competition is simple. Just upload a photo of concrete to Instagram or X using the hashtag #ConcreteInLife2526, the hashtag # of the category you are entering, and the hashtag # of the country you took the photo in.
