1. [NEW] O'Brien Fellowship in Public Service Journalism - For Journalists & Podcasters
This Nine-month opportunity seeks applications from staff-employed or independent journalists residing in the United States or its territories. Applicants should have at least five years of professional experience and produce journalism regularly as an employee or freelancer. Applicants may be connected to print operations, radio, television, websites, podcasts, online publications, wire services, or general public-interest magazines. There are no academic prerequisites. A stipend of $75,000 for nine months for your salary, paid to your sponsoring organization or directly to the fellow in the case of independent journalists.

2. [NEW] Content is Queen 2025 Micro-Grant for Podcasters
This grant, ranging from £500 to £1,000, is for individual audio creators seeking support to bring their ideas to life. Applications are open on a rolling monthly basis, but you can only apply twice throughout 12 months. Each month will feature a different theme, inspiring a variety of stories and styles. Disabled individuals, racialized individuals, LGBTQIA+ community members, and those from low-income backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.
Deadline: Rolling until November 2026
