1. The Keyholder Residency Program - For Emerging Printmaking Artists
This opportunity offers emerging artists free 24-hour access to printmaking facilities to develop new work and foster their artistic careers. Residencies are free and one year long. Artists from all disciplines can apply. A $500 stipend is provided.

2. The Watering the Seeds Midwifery Care and Capacity Building Grant
This grant is for Black and Indigenous practicing midwives and midwifery students with $1,000-$2,500 per grantee.

3. [NEW] The 2024 Teacher Fellowship: Making Connections to Global Health Stories
As part of this paid virtual Fellowship, a cohort of up to 14 educators will explore global health stories over the course of six workshops in a community with other passionate Fellows, award-winning journalists, and the Pulitzer Center education team. They will analyze how news stories engage students in critically analyzing several global health topics, guide students in making local connections, and explore paths for students to apply their learning to address health issues in their communities. Ultimately, educators will design a rigorous learning experience that centers on at least one news story and culminates in an activity exemplifying empowered action. Participants will share the results of this learning experience by publishing a narrative blog post or a lesson plan that captures student learning, engagement, and empowered action. A $600 stipend will be provided.

4. Power Plant Grants - For Indianapolis Visual Artists
This annual opportunity provides $10,000 project grants to six individual visual artists or teams who live or work in Indianapolis.

5. The Les Paul Foundation Grant - For Nonprofits
This opportunity awards grants to programs and projects that encourage innovation in music production and/or performance and to innovative STEM and STEAM programs for students and others in challenging situations. It also provides grants for medical research related to curing tinnitus and hearing impairment issues. Funding ranges from $1,500 to $2,000.

6. The 2024 High Five Grant for Mom Entrepreneurs
The Mama Ladder is an international grant program that helps ambitious mom entrepreneurs grow their businesses. Mothers who own businesses from any country are welcome to apply! $1,000-$10,000 in funding will be awarded. Please note that the application link opens on September 1st.

7. [NEW] The Connected Coastlines Grants - For Journalists
This initiative is building a consortium of newsrooms and independent journalists across the U.S. to report on the local effects of erratic weather patterns on coastal populations using the latest climate science. They are eager to receive proposals from staff journalists and freelancers who wish to report on coastal stories underpinned by recent climate science, data, or research for publication or broadcast by small and regional news outlets in U.S. coastal states. Most awards will be between $2,000 and $8,000.

8. [NEW] The WORTHLESSSTUDIOS Photographer in Residence Program
This unique 1-month-long photography residency takes place inside a mobile darkroom Airstream trailer. This program supports emerging photographers looking to utilize a private darkroom facility to enhance their practice and advance their body of work located anywhere within a 3-hour drive from Brooklyn, NY. A $1,500 Artist Stipend will be provided.
