Week of January 24th: Grants, Writing Competitions and Leadership Fellowships

1. EnrichHer’s $5,000 Small Business Grant
EnrichHER is offering a $5,000 small business grant for inspiring companies, especially those led by women and founders of color. US-based businesses are eligible to apply.

2. Black Girl Ventures (BGV) Change Agent Fellowship
The Change Agent Fellowship by BGV is a 9-month leadership skills development program created to expand the capacity of early-stage Black/Brown women entrepreneurs and founders.
You’ll receive a $10,000 stipend and have access to leadership development training. Must have the ability to commit 8 hours per month to this program.
Currently, this opportunity is only available to residents of the following cities: Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Miami, Houston, and Detroit.

3. For Podcasters
Podca$h is awarding between $250 and $5,000 in sponsorship to hundreds of podcasters and aspiring podcasters.
Apply if you’ve earned less than $10,000 in sponsorship for your podcast and are based in the U.S.

4. For Writers
Enter the 91st Writer’s Digest Annual Writing Competition for your chance to win and have your work be seen by editors and agents. Almost 500 winners will be chosen. One first prize winner will receive $5,000 and more.
Deadline: Early-bird deadline May 6, 2022
Poetry entry fee —$20 for the first entry; $15 for each additional poetry entry.
Manuscript entry fee—$30 for the first entry; $25 for each additional manuscript entry.
Deadline: June 6, 2022

Manuscript entry—$35 for the first entry; $30 for each additional manuscript entry.
