[FEATURED GRANTS]

1. The Philip Roth Residence in Creative Writing

This opportunity offers up to four months of unfettered writing time for a writer working on a first or second book. In the current application season, the Roth Residence is open to writers in any creative genre within the literary arts, including fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, hybrid work, and graphic novels. The residency includes an apartment at Bucknell’s Writers’ Cottage and a $5,000 stipend.

2. [NEW] The Princess Grace Awards for Emerging Artists in Theater, Dance & Film

These awards recognize both creative generators (including but not limited to theater directors, designers, choreographers, film directors, etc.) and performance-based creatives (including but not limited to actors, dancers, etc.). Applicants must be nominated by a non-profit university, organization, media arts center or previous Princess Grace Award winner. Self-nominations are not allowed. This is an unrestricted cash grant of $15,000 paid directly to the artist.

3. [NEW] BalletX’s Choreographic Fellowship - For Choreographers

This program unites one emerging artist each season with a distinguished choreographer who serves as a mentor as they both create World Premieres on the BalletX dancers. As one of the nation's only programs focusing on choreographic development in ballet, the Fellowship strengthens BalletX’s mission by prioritizing the creation of new works by new voices. The selected fellow will receive a $7,500 Choreographic Fee to Create a 20-25 Minute Ensemble Ballet. Mentorship by a Renowned Choreographer. Round-trip transportation to Philadelphia, PA, with Per Diem and Accommodations and a $7,000 Budget for Costumes, Scenic Design, and Music.

4. The Spencer Fellowship for Education Reporting - For Journalists & Educators

This opportunity is open to journalists and educators who want to develop and publish an ambitious long-form journalism project that advances public understanding of education. Four fellows will be selected for this yearlong program based at Columbia Journalism School. The fellowship combines study and research with advising from faculty experts at Columbia, Teachers College, and elsewhere.

There are residential and non-residential fellowship options. Fellows receive a stipend of $85,000 for residential, or $43,000 for non-residential, plus $7,500 in project expenses. Each fellow is matched with a Columbia Journalism School faculty member who serves as a project adviser.

5. The 2026 Sundance Institute Ignite X Adobe Fellowship - For Emerging Filmmakers

This opportunity is for emerging filmmakers (ages 18 to 25) who are creating stories that bring their passion, voice, and perspective to life. The program identifies and supports new voices and talent from the next generation of filmmakers by providing artistic and professional development to advance their careers to the next stage. The yearlong Sundance Institute Ignite x Adobe Fellowship is open to emerging documentary and fiction filmmakers worldwide. The fellowship begins with a weeklong in-person lab at MassMoca in North Adams, Massachusetts, orienting filmmakers to the fellowship and the year ahead. Selected applicants will receive a $5,000 artist grant.

6. Financial Goals Scholarships - For College Students

Do you have an awesome financial goal? Is college your first step in getting there? Then, you can enter the Financial Goals Scholarship and win $2,000 to help make your dreams a reality. Available to U.S. citizens and Permanent Residents 18 or older, enrolled or planning to enroll in college.
