Up to $6,500 Grant For Southern California-based Content Creators (Deadline: March 1, 2026)
Capture the story of Los Angeles and its connection to the Olympics.
If you're a Southern California-based content creator, here's an opportunity for you.
Over the next three years, PBS SoCal is teaming up with local creators to capture the story of Los Angeles: its history, neighborhoods, and unseen legacies, as it transforms for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Selected local storytellers, documentarians, and content creators will receive a grant of up to $6,500 to produce one short video (5–8 minutes) and a 60-second vertical video optimized for social media.
Selected videos will premiere on PBS SoCal’s digital platforms.
Note: They are looking for stories that connect to the Olympic and Paralympic Games in LA. This should be explored through a venue or neighborhood connected to LA’s Olympic past, present, and future. A clear historical connection to the Olympic Games is required.
Deadline: March 1, 2026
