Welcome To Grants For Creators™!

As creators, we’ve all had many ideas.

Some ideas keep us up at night.

These ideas live rent-free in our minds (and hearts).

But what if you’re unable to self-fund them right now? Now what?

I know what it feels like to pause meaningful work due to a lack of funding. I had projects I believed in, stories I wanted to tell, and work I was ready to produce that stalled because I could no longer self-fund it.

Your idea(s) deserve meaningful support. They deserve funding.

They deserve to be brought to life.

Grants For Creators™ is a grant-discovery and education platform that helps 22,000+ creators find and secure non-dilutive funding, such as grants, paid fellowships, and pitch competitions for their creative projects and small businesses. To date, we’ve helped creators secure over $177,000 in grant funding.

Our mission is to ensure lack of funding is no longer the reason creative work goes unfinished.

Why Subscribe to Grants For Creators™?

Creatives are underfunded and overlooked by traditional funding ecosystems.

Grant funding is also scattered across hundreds of websites, newsletters, and social posts. We centralize grants and other non-dilutive funding opportunities for creative individuals and small business owners, all in one place.

Grants featured are US-eligible only.

What is a creator?

Creators include anyone making things, digitally or physically, such as artists, writers, podcasters, photographers, journalists, filmmakers, musicians, and more.

Here’s what some of our subscribers are saying about the newsletter.

Curious about what goes into creating this resource?

Searching for highly relevant grants can take a lot of time to curate.

We spend 20+ hours per week researching and working on this newsletter, ensuring subscribers can take action quickly without sifting through tons of irrelevant or outdated opportunities.

Our goal is to eventually launch our own creator fund for our community directly. If you are interested in partnering on this initiative, please reach out to Danielle Desir Corbett at grantsforcreators (at) gmail (dot) com.

Where have we been featured?

Since launching in January 2022, we’ve been featured in Podnews, HMI, Podcasting Seriously, Black Podcasting Awards, and Afros & Audio, to name a few.

We’ve also been invited to speak at many events (virtual and in-person) and podcasts.

For all inquiries, email Danielle Desir Corbett at grantsforcreators (at) gmail (dot) com.

Thank you for helping us spread the word!

About Our Founder

Hi there, I’m Danielle Desir Corbett.

I’m a former Grants Manager turned 6x grant-funded podcaster, author, and writer.

In a past life, I helped researchers search for and apply for grant opportunities to fund their research projects.

Note: I was not a grant writer — instead, think of me as a project manager.

I kept my Principal Investigators on track, meeting all their deadlines and ensuring they had all the pieces required for submissions. When the grants were funded, I assisted with reporting and financial management.

Throughout my tenure, I submitted multi-million-dollar grant proposals for 7 years, until 2021, when I quit my corporate career to pursue creative entrepreneurship.

By 2021, I received four grants for my creative work.

My eyes were now open to the possibility. Winning grants taught me that creators and small business owners can fund their ideas, too.

After regularly finding so many grant opportunities (and having nowhere to share them), I created Grants For Creators™ to:

1) Encourage creators to see themselves as worthy of winning grants to fund their business growth.

2) Help creators find relevant grants and funding opportunities faster.

3) Share helpful grant writing tips to secure funding.

Applying to grants and other paid opportunities has changed the trajectory of my business (and life), and I want the same for you.

So leave the research to me. Not only am I really good at it, but it’s also a lot of fun!
