1. [NEW] The FY27 Business Development Grant - For Greater Charlottesville, Virginia Small Businesses
The United Way of Greater Charlottesville and the Minority Business Alliance of the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce are pleased to partner on this grant opportunity for small, for-profit businesses that have been in business for at least one year but may need financial assistance to continue operations. To qualify for a Business Development Grant, at least one primary owner must identify as socially disadvantaged. Ten grants of $5,000 each will be awarded.

2. [NEW] Ignite: A WBDC Grant Program - For Connecticut Women-Owned Small Businesses
Ignite is designed to help women-owned businesses grow! Grants between $2,500 and $10,000 will be awarded for clearly defined projects that will have a measurable impact on the business, its growth, and profitability. The grant funds cannot be used towards operating expenses (e.g., inventory, marketing expenses, salaries), real estate improvements (e.g., construction costs), reimbursement for past purchases, or debt repayment. Applicants are required to have invested at least $2,500 into their business in the last 12 months, unless located in a distressed municipality.

3. [NEW] Q.EDC Flash Grants Program - For Queens Small Businesses
What would $1,000 solve for your Queens small business? Sometimes you just need a little bit of extra cash. Your AC went bust in the middle of summer. Your menus haven’t been updated in a decade. Your awning has become the home to the local pigeon population. But margins are tight - who has the extra money lying around to fix these things? That’s where this grant program comes in. Q.EDC is giving out $1,000 to 5 small businesses in Queens to help solve these nagging little problems.
